The interior of the apartment in the popular Beskid mountain resort of Čeladná was created from the client's wish to design a weekend apartment for a family of three, connecting the qualities of city life and nature. The original layout of the apartment was modified by removing internal masonry partitions, except for the bathroom, and replacing them with built-in furniture and a full-glass partition. This resulted in a bright and airy space divided only by light and color, with plenty of storage options. The dominant materials are oak wood in natural and dark shades of black oil, complemented by large-format tiles in a concrete gray tone with small black details. This play of materials thus links different aspects of urban and mountain lifestyles.
