A cultivated, harmonious, and very pleasant couple decided to acquire housing in one of the upper floors of a newly emerging complex.
They liked the location and the future external "face" of the new building, but they were not aligned with the design of the future apartment that the developer offered. Therefore, already at the stage of signing the purchase agreement, they negotiated with the developer the condition that all construction work — starting with the layout — would be carried out according to our drawing documentation.
We began working on the concept of their housing, which we addressed down to the last detail, at a time when the excavation work for the future building was still ongoing.
Our clients are very busy and often travel abroad in connection with work. Therefore, they knew that in their new home, they primarily needed peace, an atmosphere conducive to relaxation, and an undisturbed oasis.
They wished for a harmonious, clear, practical, and simultaneously elegant space.
A space where everything has its fixed place.
The entrance area is equipped with carefully planned cabinets, and thanks to the mirroring, it breathes calm, harmony, and balance. This is further enhanced by carefully selected artworks, each accompanied by its own story.
The investors placed emphasis on the perfect layout of all parts of the apartment, including the bathroom, a separate wardrobe, a technical room, and other elements. No space was overlooked — for example, the joints of the tiles in the bathroom carefully align with the lines of the built-in furniture above the sinks.
Part of the task was to cover everything, store away, avoid being distracted by the number of objects, allow the art to stand out, and carefully resolve the lighting. Backlighting was used to emphasize the atmosphere, extend the length of views and the space itself.
They knew — and did not underestimate — that everything is interconnected.
Since a guest or children's room was not needed, in addition to the living area and bedroom, only a separate and elegant study was important.
The living area is built on images. And not only on the pictures on the walls, to which the owners have a personal connection, but also on the “colorful picture” created by the bookshelf next to the seating in the living area. Mainly on the changing and always beautiful view of the city.
The "clean" shaped kitchen, whose high part is embedded in the wall, is followed by a colorful accent of seating at the dining table with direct access to the terrace. The investors also devoted great care to the choice of a sophisticated and highly functional extractor hood.
The owners emphasized that the beautiful views from the dining area and the living room should not be "drowned out" by anything. The large terrace is a natural continuation of the daily living space. The terrace railing is made of clear glass.
We greatly appreciate that our clients were aware of the key role of timely drawing preparation and thoughtful processing of every future detail — for example, the connections of stainless steel elements on the walls and ceilings around the glass sliding and opening doors, luminous lines in the ceilings connecting to other "moments," indirect lighting in ceiling pockets, the arrangement and adjustment of artworks, etc.
They did not rush us, leaving us enough space for reflection and creation, a joint search for balance in shapes, colors, and materials. They precisely articulated their vision of a space where nothing would be missing or excessive. We hope that we fulfilled their wish to create a harmonious home. We believe that the new housing maximally reflects the exceptional personalities of both owners.
