Flat in Litoměřice

Flat in Litoměřice
Architect: Ivana Dombková
Completion:2017
Area:96 m2

The development project from the early 90s suffered from various issues that have recently worsened. This primarily involved outdated electrical installations, insufficient sound insulation between individual apartments, worn surfaces on walls and floors, leaking windows, and a lack of storage space caused by an unsuitable layout.

A significant advantage of this apartment for investors is its completely suitable location, good neighborly relations, and a large terrace accessible from the kitchen and dining area. Therefore, the owners, who are a couple with two school-aged children, decided on a radical change.

After we prepared the drawings for the layout change, all installations, and the manufacturing documentation for all future furnishings of the apartment, they left their home for six months. They only wished to keep the new red sofa.

The new layout ensured maximum storage space, the new floors were connected to the installation of underfloor heating, and the ceilings provided sufficient sound insulation between floors, while the electrical installation meets current modern requirements.

The investors decisively got rid of everything they do not use and emphasized to us in the brief everything they need for living. Thus, an airy and bright space for a modern family was created in an area of 96 m². A home was born where "breathing freely" is possible, where nothing is lacking or in excess.
