The apartment in Malá Strana with a view of Prague Castle was created entirely "from scratch" at the owners' request, through a complete reconstruction of a space that originally consisted of several smaller apartments. Their requirement was to create a timeless, modern, permanent, and well-thought-out space with an emphasis on the quality of every detail. Essentially, only the location of the entrance and windows was preserved. The original winding space was straightened out with built-in wardrobes, and other niches and irregularities of the original condition were utilized to create hidden storage areas, providing the apartment with more space. The realization went from design to rough construction and on to the final furnishing of the apartment down to the last detail, including a wine cellar designed in collaboration with the owners and backlit onyx in the bathroom. The emphasis was placed on simplicity and elegance. Among the personal preferences of the owners was a top-equipped spacious kitchen and a dedicated place for a piano, which was specifically restored for this apartment.
