House on the Hill Bescanó

An experiment that has been realized in the form of a family house, which has its peculiarities and uniqueness conditioned by the location and morphology of the land on which it is situated.
As if carved by a gigantic plow, the furrows create its ground plan trace. The gently sloping shed roofs, whose facades define the architect's intervention in the form of strongly framed "eyes" of fully glazed walls, usher daylight into the interiors and offer panoramic views of the surroundings. The house disappears into the vegetation during the summer, and its architectural impact reveals itself fully only in the winter season. The linearly defined ground plan, which is mostly set into the terrain, is enlivened by unexpected curves, hiding secondary spaces. The green roof is integrated into the topography of the land and creates an integral part of it.
