Garden Design: Atelier Flera
The house for a family with two children was created on a narrow sloping plot above a ravine with a wide view into the valley. Its compact shape and position on the building line cope with the heterogeneous context of family housing on the edge of a panel housing estate. The irregular floor plan maximally utilizes the width of the plot. It defines the character of the house from the outside, where it is expressed through angled edges.
The street facade features an eccentric composition made up of various window sill heights. The exterior walls are coated with fine, light-colored plaster. The light gray windows have concrete sills on the outside and massive wooden sills inside. The house is entered through golden front doors sheltered by a small concrete canopy.
The main theme in the interior is the views with emphasized perspective. A large window on the northwest facade connects the living room with the terrace and allows for a view over the garden and ravine all the way to the horizon. The kitchen reflects the bending of the facade. The center of the second floor is a stair hall from which access is provided to the rooms, study, and bedroom.

Architectural and structural solution
The building is compact, two-story, partially basement, standing on a polygonal floor plan partially resembling the shape of the building plot.
It has a gabled roof with a gentle slope formed by a wooden truss and folded
metal roofing.
The exterior walls are made of insulating brick blocks, coated with fine light-colored
plaster. The central load-bearing wall, ceilings, and staircase are made of monolithic concrete. The light gray plastic windows have concrete sills on the outside and massive wooden sills inside. The golden front doors are heavy wood-aluminum, next to them is a view to the gate and in front of it, a seating area. The entrance is sheltered by a small concrete canopy.
In the interior, I had the opportunity to participate in selecting surfaces, sanitary fixtures, lighting, and the design of the kitchen and railing, and consulted on several carpentry products.
