The Ehlen House is a neo-Renaissance building constructed by the renowned Prague builder Otto Ehlen at the end of the 19th century. The house was insensitively altered several times in the 20th century. The goal of the reconstruction according to our design was to revitalize the original elements of both the interior and exterior, as well as to incorporate a rather complex multifunctional operation, which includes spaces for retail and services (2nd basement - 2nd floor), office spaces (3rd - 4th floor), and residential apartments (5th - 6th floor). The commencement of operations of the reconstructed historical building, the Ehlen House, in the spring of 2012 contributed to enriching life in the protected heritage zone of Prague 1, especially with the successful concept of ERA bank, which validated our vision for the future operations of the building.
ASGK Design is the author of the building's operation, the design of communal spaces, and the design of rental apartments.
