Erste Premier Lounge - A VIP lounge within Terminal 2 of Prague Airport was created in collaboration with Česká spořitelna, a.s. and Letiště Praha, a.s. The lounge's interior seamlessly connects to the concept of the newly established branch network of Česká spořitelna Premier and offers its guests maximum comfort. The new layout of the lounge increases its capacity while emphasizing the preservation of a sense of privacy. There is also space for the youngest travelers – children.
The client's intention was to create spaces primarily for the demanding clientele of Česká spořitelna, a.s., to provide top-notch service while also fulfilling the role of an oasis, a pleasant waiting environment before departure with separated seating areas, quality refreshments and beverages, daily newspapers, Wi-Fi, as well as options for watching TV, satellite, and DVDs, and not least a children's corner.
Erste Premier Lounge is operationally divided into a central entrance area with a reception, leading to the left and right wings. Both wings are zoned into a self-service catering zone composed of food counters, which seamlessly transitions to the entrance with the reception, followed by consumption zones and internet zones. Erste Premier Lounge provides approximately 210 seating places, including a presidential lounge.
The furniture (mostly custom-made tables and storage spaces) is made of Alpi veneer and is characterized by high craftsmanship quality. The color palette features calm and solid shades of brown and gray, brightened by tones of gentle and soft beige and dynamic red. Various types of seating (custom upholstered benches, upholstered chairs from brands Walter Knoll, Bene, and Kartell) divide the large space along with ingenious ball curtains, giving travelers a sense of intimacy as well as spaciousness. The curtains are transparent, providing the desired sense of privacy. A long strip of leather benches lines both wings, encircling the entire lounge space and is finished with a strip of greenery on the window sills. The high-backed chairs with acoustically absorbing effects also provide a sense of privacy. The variety of seating options allows travelers to choose from "I want to be seen" to "I want to be undisturbed and invisible." The whole space is enhanced by large-format photographs on textile acoustic membranes. The photos known as "Mood wallpapers" open up a world of extraordinary experiences. Cold tones of blue, purple-blue, and gray balance the interior, which is dominated by warm tones. They harmonize the entire space, which feels ambient and comfortable.
The design was created by the Prague studio ASGK Design s.r.o., led by architect Gabriela Kaprálová, similarly to the branch network of Erste Premier.
