The building from 1976 is an artwork in itself. It serves as a permanent exhibition of Vasarely's work and additionally as a space for temporary thematic exhibitions. The structure is made up of 16 impressive hexagonal masses and is inspired by Bauhaus. Within this architecturally unique entity are 42 monumental works by Vasarely, who is known as the father of kinetic art, presented in life size. The building was designed by Vasarely himself; his winning project captivated with its dual significance - the connection between the building and society. It demonstrates that art can be integrated into architecture and enhance the value of everyday life. The works utilize a diversity of techniques (relief, surface reduction, drawing, and transparency) and various materials (wood, metal, and plastics). Vasarely's goal is "I will give you something to look at." Vasarely uses geometric principles and combines them to highlight elements and create a spatial and motion impression, with various shapes and colors.
