Interior of the Atrium Slezská Apartment
The investor's requirement was to arrange a two-bedroom apartment with a kitchenette of a higher standard intended for rent, in a purely managerial style, oriented towards a more demanding clientele.
The apartment is located on the top floor of the Atrium Slezská apartment building, overlooking Moravian Ostrava and the Přívoz area.
The panorama of Ostrava itself predisposed the interior to a minimalist approach. After a long day at work, one can rest in a clean interior with a view of the entire city of Ostrava. The interior, in white with a contrasting black gloss, is complemented by an oak floor. The interior is complemented by its colors from the "exterior," resembling one large painting in the SORELY style, featuring smoking chimneys of factories and a sunset view from the apartment's terrace.
Only three materials and three colors are used throughout the interior, which adds a touch of luxury. The built-in wardrobes and kitchen units are in white gloss, complemented by handles made of anodized aluminum. The bar and kitchen countertop are made of artificial stone. The accent color for the kitchen unit is chosen to be black gloss. The ceiling lights are mounted from anodized aluminum. The floor is oak. Accessories include black cowhide on the floor, a black coffee table, and bar stools in black and white. The "intimate atmosphere" is enhanced by a simple white curtain that hangs down to the floor, white wallpaper with an almost imperceptible stripe, which, combined with the overall lighting of the space in warm white paired with cool white under the kitchen unit, enhances the intimacy and cleanliness of the entire space.
