Architectural SolutionThe proposed spaces are primarily intended for office work. They include individual workstations and several different collaboration spaces. The workstations are designed in an open-plan office, which is complemented by a closed kitchenette and meeting rooms. The open-plan office space is divided into smaller working groups - teams of 6 to 15 people, which are separated by furniture.
The open-plan office is equipped with phone booths – small spaces for making phone calls that could be disruptive to the surrounding area. The booths are designed for 2 people and can also be used as regular meeting rooms.
The materials used in the interior reflect the technical focus of HILTI and create a slightly industrial design. This is in line with exposed concrete ceilings with visible installations in some rooms, untreated wood used for cladding, MDF boards colored in mass, and plywood without further surface treatment, as well as galvanized sheets used for custom furniture.
Spatial SolutionThe main entrance to the offices is through the building's reception and the winter garden. From the winter garden, there is a direct entrance to the open-plan office. The entrance area with seating is separated from the rest of the office only visually by a furniture wall. Adjacent to the entrance area is a separate kitchenette, which is separated from it by a glass wall. Through the kitchenette, access is provided to a meeting room, also separated from the kitchenette by a glass wall. Workstations in the open office are designed along the facade, while a passage corridor is located within the layout. An exception is made for workstations that are not intended for permanent work. Adjacent to the corridor is a separate storage room with space for copiers, a server room, and an existing accessible toilet.
The toilets are not part of the designed space; employees will use the toilets that belong to the common facilities of the building, which are accessible from the reception area.
