The geodetic company needed a new headquarters and chose the center of Jihlava for it, where, despite the address corresponding to historical buildings, there is a purely industrial extension in one of the back sections. The separate three-story building has only an entrance and technical facilities on the ground floor, storage on the basement level, and an open space on the second floor that needed to be furnished.
The entire space is without partitions; the original walls around the staircase have disappeared, one of them replaced by a glass wall. The main element was to be a centrally positioned table for the branch manager, spaces for employees, and areas for both formal and informal meetings. The entrance area is therefore more official, with a meeting table, projector, and projection wall for conferences, while the second part contains a kitchenette, fewer workstations, and the originally lunch bar renamed to rum bar.
The industrially styled interior is in shades of gray, contrasting with warm wood, and a prominent feature is the large-format ceramic cladding on the wall behind the pallet sofa and the dominant lighting fixtures.
