FIS-SST Office Building

The new office building for the software company FIS-SST is located in the educational and business center Nowe Gliwice, which was created on the site of a former coal mine - operated from the 18th century until the end of the 19th century. The aim of the local development agency GAPR, which manages the educational and business center, was to create favorable conditions for businesses engaged in new technologies and potentially redevelop the site into a technology park. The construction of FIS-SST's headquarters (the first new building in the entire complex) is the result of a process of revitalization of post-industrial areas - creating new public spaces within the Nowe Gliwice center. The historic buildings of the former mining facilities in the Nowe Gliwice center occupy the western part along Bojkowska Street. Directly behind them, the area has been divided into plots intended for commercial purposes. A new office building for FIS-SST has also been designed on one of these plots with a minimalist aesthetic and the use of subtle color tones.
