Reconstruction of the interior of Café NoD
The heart of the multi-genre cultural space NoD is the café. Our task was to reconstruct the interior with the aim of supporting its daily café operation.
The design enhances the atmosphere of the hall from the early 20th century. We preserve the typical central bar for NoD with the levitating sculpture of Golden Bone by Jiří David and an elevated stage for seating. We connect a new cornice to the ornate cornice at the front of the hall, which frames the entire café space. The smoked oak parquet, the white mosaic of the bar, and the traditional café chairs along with brass elements reference the period when the building was created.
