Café in the reading room of the Faculty of Civil Engineering CTU

The café in the atrium is connected to the student reading room. It offers several types of seating where one can read, study, think, or discuss over a cup of coffee. The curvature of the bar and the library derives from the shape of the concrete structure, which repeats in the space several times and has been employed in a new context. A pair of concrete solitaires now serve as the café bar and the library. In the café for students of construction fields, the use of materials and elements that they encounter during their studies was offered.
