A cult club cinema with its own specific atmosphere, shaped by the experiences, events, and the people associated with it, in addition to the space itself.

When the operators of the cinema approached us with the possibility of designing the renovation of the bar and the foyer, we definitely did not hesitate. The biggest question, however, was the conditions of the assignment itself: "Could you design the bar interior in fourteen days and then push everything through before the investor, which is Prague 3, subsequently discuss everything with the designated designer, and finally oversee everything during the implementation?" Given that we are among the big fans of the cinema, we jumped at the chance without hesitation.

Despite initial minor confrontations with the investor, we managed to preserve some specific details, such as the slender steel frames of the original windows, and perhaps also the overall slightly "raw" feeling of a club cinema. The new spacious bar will serve a larger number of guests compared to the previous one. For collaboration on the lighting, we approached Silvia Luběnová aka maestrokatastrof, who designed 24 round bulbs. The lighting of the entire space offers several different levels according to current needs, from a well-lit foyer to the atmosphere of a night bar. We intentionally kept the colors in shades of black, white, and several shades of green that were characteristic of the old Aero.
