The Kratochvílovci shop offers noble spirits and wines from around the world. The bottle has therefore become the basic module. With the design, we aimed to evoke the atmosphere of cellars where the spirits mature. We designed ribs made of birch plywood, which arch over the trading unit space. The ribs form one multifunctional structure, whose primary function is to display the offered goods while also providing storage. In the front part of the store, the structure bends and creates a bar counter for tasting the offered drinks, which is suspended on two rods made of reinforcement steel. In the back part, the ribs transform into a table with displayed goods. The interior is finished with a black furniture wall with a glass humidor made of cedar wood for the presentation of cigars and integrated doors to the store's backroom.
The Kratochvílovci shop in OC Quadrio won the Interior of the Year 2015 award in the category Public Interior II - shops, services, corporate interiors. The shop was closed in October 2015, and a smaller version can now be visited at the Černý Most Center in Prague. The English translation is powered by AI tool.
