The panorama houses are developed as a new housing typology to meet the exceptional qualities of the wide-screen prospect of the waters of Lake Gooimeer. Two neighbours each have a plot of six metres wide with their own carport, their own entrance and their own back garden, all on the ground floor. But above all these, the living room of the one neighbour extends across the plot of the other and vice versa, in a 'bayonet stack'. In this way both houses have a living room of twelve metres wide with a panoramic view across the lake.
