The therapeutic house of Dr. Storcha was built between 1948-1949 according to the design of architect Jaromír Moučka. For the needs of current operations, the building ceased to meet the requirements for rehabilitation and accommodation of patients. The rehabilitation section was expanded with a single-story annex to the south, and the accommodation part was added on the slope on the northern side, connected to the existing building by a bridge on the 3rd floor.
The existing building was completely reconstructed.
After the completion of the construction, the capacity of the therapeutic house is 120 beds, including 30 in single rooms and 90 in double rooms.
The construction included extensive modifications to the surrounding park, creating a solid area for outdoor rehabilitation and a pond that utilizes rainwater from the roofs and paved areas.
