Small apartment with a view of Charles Bridge and Prague Castle

The apartment for a Czech and a young American was created as part of a comprehensive reconstruction of the entire house. The unused attic space offered the possibility of building a small but very pleasant apartment.
The almost square floor plan, original dormers that let in plenty of natural light, and the unique ancient, yet fully functional stone stairs to the attic served as the foundation for the high-quality construction of this apartment. The owner's request was clear: to maximize the use of space and create an apartment for the comfortable living of two people. The investor did not intervene further in the design. He approved the layout and the materials used. He returned to the apartment only after it was completely finished.
