Architect: Josef Polášek
Address: Kotlářská 4, Brno, Czech Republic
Completion:1930-1931

The civic school in Brno on Kotlářská Street is an extension of the existing older school complex. The row building contains two floors of classrooms, workshops for girls and boys, physics lecture halls, and laboratories. In a separate part, there is a kindergarten. The construction was carried out in the years 1930-1931 at a total cost of 2,040,000 CZK, including interior furnishings. 1m3 of constructed space cost about 165 CZK. The framework of the building is made of concrete, with patent windows from the company Ippen, linoleum floors, and mostly built-in furniture.
