Interior and furniture design for an analog photo showroom in Bratislava.
The project is part of a larger studio complex run by a community of young enthusiasts of analog photography, which includes a photography studio, grading room, office, film laboratory, and showroom. As a young collective driven by original ideas, with the aim of expanding the analog community in the capital of Slovakia, while also limited by a low budget, the project faced the challenge of creating a showroom space unified by unique furniture without high production costs.
The entire composition is based on the selection of robust structural elements, such as beams, steel grids, metal rods, and ratchet straps, and their subsequent transformation into objects that seek balance in unexpected ways. The project explores the question of whether an industrial character can appear structurally elegant through principles of mechanical logic and gravitational force.
Minulle Lab was officially opened in July 2025 with a launch event connecting a photography exhibition with a listening session, bringing together various groups from the Bratislava alternative scene.
