Fuchs designed this object with a complex operation in a highly adaptable way, taking into account future frequent interventions in the layout and potential expansions. The compositionally calm facade excellently conceals the busy internal operation at several different height levels. The steel structure is connected to a massive reinforced concrete foundation basin, which was designed for this site with unstable subsoil by the structural engineer Boleslav Bloudek.
Currently, this building is proof of the fact that functionalist buildings require increased care - the grimy exterior has a truly repulsive effect on the surroundings.
