Mr. Rabbit Space

The café Mr. Rabbit is a logical continuation of the concept of mobile bicycle cafés and at the same time a fulfilled dream of having a brick-and-mortar establishment. The space is located on the ground floor of a residential building near the Bratislava bus station. It is a typical "500-apartment" construction system characterized by a wall-column system in combination with reinforced concrete supporting and ceiling prefabricates. These elements, in combination with a concrete floor, smoothed plaster, and wooden furniture, give the space character.
Given that the café has only 65 m² and no storage room, there was a need for large storage space, which is created by a large oak shelf spanning the entire surface of the bar back wall. This is in contrast to the open shelf due to its solid massive form.
