The intention was to expand the existing house (a nice cube covered in ivy located in a quiet area), better resolve the entrance to the house, and connect it with the garden. The project came into being without pain. We practically agreed on the first drafts of the extension and could further develop the design and eventually the project.
The extension is constructively solved as a wooden building with one brick fire-resistant wall.
On the ground floor of the extension, there is a newly designed entrance area with an office, social facilities, and a living room with access to the garden. The ground floor of the original house has been reconstructed, featuring a new kitchen with a family room and a new staircase.
On the upper floor of the extension, there is a parents' bedroom, a dressing area, and a newly designed bathroom. On the upper floor of the original house are children's rooms with a hall.
