Reconstruction of the Ford F.67 car showroom in Nový Jičín

We love various projects with interesting investors. This is the case of the reconstruction of the Ford showroom in Nový Jičín. The main requirement of the investor was to create a new façade for the building, to consider the aesthetics of the space for the perception of visitors, both current and potential clients. Fifteen years ago, we experienced a similar case with the reconstruction of the UAX building in nearby Bernartice.
The dominant feature of the new appearance of the building consists of aluminum louvers on a truss structure, which hovers in the public space. We proposed the removal of the existing storefront to expand the retail space capacity. The new storefront made of large-format glazing was realized in front of the original columns from the exterior side of the façade. Inside, we managed to remove the drop ceiling tiles. The original concrete ceilings were cleaned and partially supplemented with new ceilings for the installation of lighting and air conditioning.
We thank the investor and the construction company for the extraordinary opportunity to renovate the establishment at such a fast pace as the Ford Mustang.
