Reconstruction of the apartment by the Municipal Yard

The immovable cultural monument of the former municipal school, built in the style of late classicism, preserves traces of the era when the future of young people was being shaped here. It is an integral part of the Old Town Municipal Courtyard, yet it distinguishes itself from the complex with its architectural expression and material solution. In its external appearance, we sense modesty, economy, but also the nobility that is so characteristic of this time. After years of suffering, the building was resuscitated from clinical death and given new life.
The architectural design of the apartment interior on the second floor is a sensitive response to the historical nature of these spaces. The aim is not to dominate and draw attention at all costs, but rather to blend with history and enhance the quality of the generous spaces. Modest colors, purity, and the use of pure materials such as wood, metal, and stone create a connection between the past and the present. The handcrafted work on the solid oak floors, which create a hexagonal grid, is evidence of the return to quality honest craftsmanship and love for it.
In a cleverly conceived layout with five rooms, a kitchen, and four bathrooms, the large windows, high ceilings, and interconnected spaces intertwine almost castle-like nobility with modern elegance. Generous, open spaces offer comfort, airiness, and flexibility. A separate entrance for catering directly from the elevator to the kitchen adds practicality and a higher standard of living to the residence. Each functional part of the apartment is visually coordinated through lighting, which creates a harmoniously tuned whole.
