Reconstruction of the apartment on Valdštejnská Street

The duplex apartment is located on the second floor of the rear courtyard section of a building on Valdštejnská Street in Prague's Malá Strana. In 1995, the original apartment on the second floor was extended into the attic space, and the entire roof structure was replaced with a new one. Before the renovation, the attic was lined with brown paneling, which was also on the floor.
The proposed construction changes consist of minor layout modifications of the apartment and newly designed lighting for the attic through four new gable dormers, which complemented the two existing hipped dormers.
The paneling was covered with drywall, and all structures, including windows and doors, were painted white.
The entire atmosphere of the historic refurbished structures was enhanced by modern elements and built-in interiors. The floor is new, made of oiled oak boards.
