The municipal office in Trojanovice has undergone renovation after 14 years of our collaboration.
The existing civic amenities building with an adjacent garage and collection yard is located in a built-up area of family houses, near the fire station. It is a two-story building with a partial basement and a gable roof.
The construction modifications consist of energy efficiency measures for the building and the saving of future operating costs. The energy audit demonstrated the necessity of insulating the façade and replacing the window openings. The wooden truss was also insulated, and the roof was newly covered with dark gray sheet metal. The façade features colored light plaster and vertically installed folded sheets.
On the ground floor, the entrance area is highlighted by corner glazing, and there is a contact zone for citizens. On the right side of the corridor, restrooms and changing rooms for office and technical service staff are proposed. On the second floor, there are offices, municipal management, and a meeting room. The attic is used for the municipal archive. The interior design follows an open concept with transparency between individual offices.
The original truss has been removed from the garage building, and a terrace with seating has been created, supplemented with a roof featuring extensive greenery. The garage façade is adorned with wooden slats.
