Family house of academic painter A. V. Hrstka

The house is designed for two families. Each floor has a separately enclosed apartment. The studio, which is directly connected to the garden, is completely separated from the apartments. The building is constructed from bricks with concrete ceilings and a flat ceiling finish. The windows, except for the studio's, are wooden with double glazing (frame on frame). The floors are mostly wooden. The staircase is concrete, covered with terrazzo. The exterior plaster is smooth, lime-based, and the roof is flat, covered with asphalt, drained into the center of the building. The outer boundary wall is finished with tiles. The building blends into the terrain sloping to the south and is terraced with a large lawn parquet in front of the southern facade. All living rooms face south and east.
