On the upper plot behind our studio, we realized a house for living. Practically invisible from the main road, the house in greenery is located on the communication axis from the parking lot.
A single-story energy-efficient house was designed, featuring a concept of two horizontal wooden panels (floor and ceiling) and creating the life of the house inside. The house is divided into two wings, forming the letter L in its layout. The first wing contains the social part of the house, dominated by a living area that is illuminated by glass walls facing the garden. The second wing houses the quiet part of the house with bedrooms. The semi-atrium of the house is complemented by a terrace for family seating and relaxation.
Structurally, the house is designed as a wooden construction with solid panels and a ventilated facade made of cement-bonded particle boards. The interior is combined with exposed wooden panels and drywall cladding on the walls.
The type of construction and the simple layout of the house have dictated several other projects and realizations of our studio.
