<Victoria Cottage in Mrklov>

The realization of a small cottage on the border of the Krkonošsko National Park was created through the synthesis of the investor's requirements, the character of the land, and its surroundings. The plot is sloping to the north and offers a beautiful view of the landscape. This smaller family recreational cottage has an entrance from the lowered ground floor, where wellness and storage spaces are located. From there, stairs lead to the first floor (ground floor from the southern side) with a living room, kitchen, and a terrace oriented to the south. In the living room, a large window is designed facing the valley, allowing a view of the wide surroundings from the comfort of the interior. In the attic, there are two bedrooms with a small bathroom.
Since the cottage is realized in a low-energy standard, it can also serve as a fully functional small family house.
Structurally, this countryside house on the slope is designed in the lowered ground floor as a brick building clad with stone, and in the raised ground floor and attic as a wooden structure of classic skeletal construction, which is covered with imitation log work.
