The viewpoint without a view at Pajkrovy flošny, a relic reminiscent of the military history of Hradec Králové, is an architectural and spatial reflection on the constant existence of new war conflicts and the bleak situation of humanity within them. The climb to the viewpoint is concluded by a fragment of memories from the writer Ignát Herrmann, who, as a twelve-year-old boy, observed the Battle of Hradec Králové in 1866 from the city walls, the largest military clash on our territory. His reflection is a contrast between the purity of a child's perspective and brutal reality. Wars are often perceived as events of the world, yet at their core there is always humanity.
