Biography
Bimal Hasmukh Patel is an Indian architect, president of CEPT University (since 2012) and head of HCP Design Planning and Management. From 1978 to 1984 he studied architecture at CEPT University. In 1981 he studied under Prof. Frei Otto at the Institute of Lightweight Structures at the University of Stuttgart. In 1988 he earned a master's degree from the Department of Urban and Regional Planning at the University of California, Berkeley. In 1990 he joined his father's office. In 1992 he received the Aga Khan Award for Architecture.
