Biography
Landscape artist Bruno Doedens studied architecture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Amsterdam, where he specialized in landscape architecture. In 1990, he won the Rome Prize for landscape architecture. In 1993, he co-founded the landscape studio DS with Maike van Stiphout, which gained fame by winning a competition in 1995 with a design for two parks in Potsdamer Platz in Berlin. After twelve years, he left studio DS in 2005 to focus more on experimentation and research in the field of landscape architecture.
