Biography
Daniel Monheim studied architecture at BTU Cottbus, TU Darmstadt, and ETSA Barcelona. Since 2011, he has been working at the Basel office of Christ & Gantenbein (becoming an associate in 2017 and a partner in 2021), where he led the project for the extension of the Swiss National Museum in Zurich and recently completed a multifunctional building for the German company Roche Pharma AG, which he led throughout the entire process. He is currently working as a lead designer on the extension of the Wallraf-Richartz Museum & Fondation Corboud in Cologne.
