Biography
Diogo Seixas Lopes was a Portuguese architect who first studied at FAUTL in Lisbon and then obtained a doctorate at ETH in Zurich. He served as a visiting professor at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada (2013, 2015-16) and DARQ.FCTUC in Coimbra, Portugal (2011-13). He was the editor-in-chief of the magazine Prototypo, co-directed the magazine JA-Jornal dos Arquitectos with André Tavares, and in 2016 he was the chief curator of the Lisbon Architecture Triennale. Since 2003, he collaborated with Patrícia Barbas, with whom he founded the joint studio Barbas Lopes Arquitectos in Lisbon in 2006.
