We cordially invite you to the opening and inauguration of the exhibition titled 80IG80, featuring 80 works by students and alumni dedicated to the educator on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of Ivan Gürtler's birth. The opening and meeting will take place on April 4, 2023, at 16:00 in the main staircase of Building A.
Dr.h.c., assoc. prof. Ing. arch. Acad. arch. Ivan Gürtler, PhD. is celebrating his 80th birthday. During his academic career from 1991 to 2018, he worked at various colleges and universities, including FAD STU in Bratislava, VUT in Brno, the Departments of Architecture at TUKE in Košice, and SvF VŠB-TU in Ostrava. Throughout his tenure, he has mentored 123 graduates in the field of architecture. This number currently represents a community that, with its potential, significantly shapes the direction of contemporary architecture not only in Slovakia but also abroad.
