We cordially invite you to the presentation of the studio of architect Szymon Rozwałka, head of one of the studios at the FA VUT participating in the exhibition Vektor chudoby. The presentation will take place on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at 5:00 PM at Vašulka Kitchen Brno. The basic idea of Szymon Rozwałka's studio is the conviction that poverty cannot be completely eradicated. Instead, we should not perceive it as a flaw or a temporary abnormality, but as an integral part of our world. Poverty has many faces, and it is our duty – just like that of architecture – not to lose sensitivity towards it. Reflecting on the role of architecture in addressing complex social problems is a key component of this process. The exhibition Vektor chudoby aims to be its active element. Szymon Rozwałka was born in 1970 in Szczecin, Poland. In 1989-1995 he studied at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture of the Technical University of Szczecin. In 2001, together with Paweł Wachnicki, he founded the architectural studio C+HO_aR in Szczecin, which in 2007 split into two separate studios in Szczecin and Olomouc. Since 2012, he owns RO_aR architects, based in Brno. In 2024, together with Ada Rypl Žabčíková and Jaroslav Sedlák, he founded ROAR FUUZE ADA. He is a member of the National Chamber of Polish Architects and the Czech Chamber of Architects. He runs a studio at the Department of Experimental Design, Faculty of Architecture, Brno University of Technology.
