Emiliano López

Biography
Emiliano López Matas was born in Argentina and grew up in Barcelona. In 2012, he earned a PhD in architecture from the Universitat Politèctina de Catalunya. In 1999, he obtained a master's degree in architecture from Harvard University (Real Colegio Complutense de Madrid scholarship) and in 1997, he received a master's degree in art history from ETSA Barcelona. In 1996, he graduated with a degree in architecture from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Vallès. From 2006 to 2008, he taught at the School of Architecture at Universitat Rovira i Virgili in Reus, from 2001 to 2004 at Universitat Internacional de Catalunya, from 2004 to 2007 he was an assistant professor at Calgary University and co-director of the architecture school program in Barcelona, from 2001 to 2004 he was a lecturer at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Vallès, and from 2008 to 2014 an assistant professor. He is currently teaching at Washington University in St. Louis.
