Biography
Hasmukh Chandulal Patel was a pioneer of modern Indian architecture. He completed his bachelor's degree in architecture in 1956 at Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda and earned his master's degree in 1959 at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. He subsequently traveled through Europe and Africa. Upon his return to Ahmedabad, he founded his own practice, HCP Design Planning and Management, in 1961.
