BiographyHilde Léon studied architecture at the Technical University of Berlin from 1973 to 1978. The following two years, she obtained a DAAD scholarship to attend the IUAV School of Architecture in Venice. In 1983, she co-founded an architectural office with Konrad Wohlhage, to which Siegfried Wernik joined in 1994. Since 2015, the office has again been called léonwohlhage.
From 1990 to 1995, she was a research associate at the Institute of Architecture and Urbanism at the University of the Arts in Berlin. Since 2000, she has been a professor at the Institute of Building Design at the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz University in Hanover.
