Ivor Richards was an English architect, publicist, and educator. He studied architecture in Southend, but in his final year, he traveled to London for informal tutoring with Cedric Price. After graduation, he worked for the firm Stillman and Eastwick-Field, before joining the studio of Leslie Martin in Kings Mill in 1969, where he worked until 1984. From 1984 to 1990, he served as a professor at Cardiff University and from 1990 to 2008, he taught at the University of Newcastle.
