Job Floris is a Dutch architect and co-founder of the Monadnock studio. In 2004, he obtained a master's degree in architecture from the Rotterdam Academy of Fine Arts, where he continued his studies in architecture at Sint Joost in Breda. He gained his first experience during an internship at Christian Kieckens Architects in Aalst, where he contributed to the design of exhibitions for the Singel museum in Antwerp. Floris subsequently broadened his experience in Flanders, working at Architectenbureau Poulissen & Partners in Antwerp from 1998 to 2000. In 2000, he returned to the Netherlands, where he worked as a project architect at Rapp+Rapp until 2006. During this period, he contributed to several projects, including the design and implementation of the urban center plan in Ypenburg. Job Floris publishes in various architectural and artistic magazines and has been the editor of the OASE Journal for Architecture since 2008. Since 2006, he has been a guest lecturer both in the Netherlands and abroad.
