About us
Senzomatic is a leading specialist in Moisture Risk Management in wooden buildings – from small family homes to large public and commercial buildings. We do this by assessing moisture risks in wooden buildings, placing our sensors into these places, and then using advanced algorithms to detect and predict adverse situations. We are expanding globally.
Your role
You are the Quoting Support. This is a part-time remote role designed to fit around your life — whether that's maternity leave, studies, or other commitments. There is no office to commute to, no rigid schedule, and no pressure. Just clear, focused work you can do from home, at your own pace.
Your job is straightforward: you receive floor plans from our Sales Team, place sensors into the drawings, and send the completed layout back — typically within 48 hours. That's it. We'll teach you everything you need to know.
What you'll be doing
Receive floor plans in PDF and technical drawings from the Sales Team.
Analyze the layout and identify the right placement for sensors using our own special program for this.
Work directly in our company system — everything runs online, no setup needed.
Return the completed sensor placement structure typically within 48 hours or as we will agree.
Depending on your qualifications, you will be doing sensor placement in simpler homes all the way through to working on analysing very complex state-of-the-art wooden buildings from around the world.
Qualifications
Architectural and/or building experience and ability to read floorplans.
Deeper knowledge and experience with wooden buildings a big plus.
A basic understanding moisture issues and building physics a big plus.
Architectural or construction engineering degree a big plus.
A working knowledge of Revit, ArchiCAD, AutoCAD, BIM programs and similar is a big benefit and will enable you to process more complex projects.
A strong working knowledge of English is required (no need to speak, but especially reading of building layouts). Knowledge of other languages a plus.
What success looks like (first 3 months)
You receive a drawing, you know what to do with it, and you deliver on time.
The Sales Team trusts your work and rarely needs to make corrections.
Your working style
Technically curious: You enjoy looking at floor plans and understanding how a building works.
Self-driven: You manage your own time, prioritize well, and don't need someone checking in on you.
Reliable: When you take something on, it gets done.
A few final points:-)
Fully remote & flexible: We care about results, not when or where you work — this role is designed to fit around your life. You tell us the maximum hours you want to work in any given week and as we receive Quote requests from customers we will pass these on to you for processing.
Real impact: You'll see your work turn into real sensors installed in real buildings around the world.
Meaningful tech: We are supporting the migration to sustainable building materials by protecting modern wooden buildings from moisture damage.
