Biography
Kashef Mahboob Chowdhury studied architecture at BUET (Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology). In 2012, he received the ar+d Award for Emerging Architecture from The Architectural Review, in 2016 the Aga Khan Award for Architecture, and in 2021 the RIBA International Prize. In 1997, his studio URBANA won first prize in the national competition for the Independence Monument and Museum of Bangladesh.
