Biography
Ludwig Tremmel was an Austrian architect who studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna under Prof. Victor Luntz from 1895-98. From 1904-07, he was employed as an architect for the Lower Austrian provincial government. He then moved to Pilsen, where he taught at the State Commercial School until the end of the monarchy in 1918 and also served as the chief architect of Škoda Works. After returning to Vienna, he taught at the Federal Institute for Technical and Vocational Education from 1919-39 and also worked as an independent architect, among others for the city of Vienna.
