Biography
In 1988, he completed his studies at the Faculty of Architecture of the Technical University of Lisbon and worked for about a year in the architecture studio of Manuel Graça Dias and Egás José Vieira, and occasionally with architect João Luíse Carrilho da Graça. At the end of 1988, he decided to return to Lagos and, together with architect Vitor Lourenço, founded the company Oblíqua Arquitectos, Lda. He ended this collaboration in 2000. Since then, he has co-led his own studio Mário Martins Atelier, Lda, with Maria José Rio (partner and wife).
