BiographyMarion Gruber studied architecture at the Technical University of Vienna, where she also worked as an assistant at the Institute for Building Theory. During and after her studies, she worked in various architectural offices, including Mecanoo Architekten in Delft. In 2012, she founded the architectural office PLOV Architekten in Vienna with her partner Christoph Leitner. From 2012 to 2016, she was a spokesperson for IG-Architektur Wien, where she co-initiated a mentoring program for young female architects on their path to entrepreneurship. Since 2018, she has been involved in the competition commission of the Austrian Chamber of Civil Engineers, and since 2023, she has served as the vice-chairwoman of the competition commission.
