Marta Ivanšek (née Ravnikar) was a Slovenian architect and sister of Edvard Ravnikar. She studied architecture in 1951 at the University of Ljubljana under Jože Plečnik. After graduation, she worked in the Dom and Slovenija project studio. From 1954 to 1959, she went to Sweden with her husband France Ivanšek, where she worked as an architect. After returning to Slovenia, she worked at the Institute of Urban Planning and then, with her husband France Ivanšek, founded an independent studio for housing and interiors, later known as Ambient d.o.o.. In 1986, she and her husband received the IKEA Award. Together with her husband, she is best known for the urban design of the Murgle housing estate in Ljubljana.
